What
is the cost to sell on gorage?
gorage.com is FREE for sellers and buyers.
What
is a Gorage?
For the seller… your gorage is “your
store” or “your space” to
sell classified items or services. Whether it’s
1 item or a warehouse full of inventory, new
or used, $1 or $1,000,000.
How
does gorage.com work?
Please refer to the SELLER
INFO or BUYER
INFO for more detailed information on this
subject.
How
do I become a gorage.com seller or buyer?
SELLER: YOU MUST REGISTER IN ORDER TO BECOME
A GORAGE SELLER. After you register, you will
be able to manage your items and inquiries from
within your own control panel.
BUYER:
BUYERS NEVER NEED TO REGISTER TO USE GORAGE.
Does
gorage.com have a rating system?
We feel that Rating Systems can be a false sense
of security, so SELLER & BUYER BEWARE! Gorage.com
acts as a “mediator” not a “big
brother” since all transactions are between
the buyers and sellers. We DO however show how
long the seller has been a registered user as
an interest for buyers. Gorage.com will suspend
any account that has complaints that we deem
as “serious”, i.e. A LATE SHIPPING
ISSUE IS NOT CONSIDERED SERIOUS, WHERE AS FAILING
TO SHIP AN ITEM AFTER FUNDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED
AND CLEARED, WOULD BE.

What
items can’t I sell?
Since we don’t require buyers to register
it is impossible for us to track their age.
For this reason, gorage.com DOES NOT allow the
sales of medications, poisons, firearms, ammunition
of any kind, adult content (materials or items),
fireworks, artillery, chemical compounds used
in making explosives, tobacco or smoking pariphanalia,
law enforcement uniforms or identification that
are current issue in any state or country, human
and/or animal body parts.
How
do buyers contact me?
A buyer who finds your listing, will be able
to contact you from the email address you supply
in your listing. The email inquiry will go directly
to the message center in your control panel
and you can respond from there. You also have
the option of forwarding all messages from your
control panel message center to your personal
email address (the email address you supplied
in your registration form). A phone number in
your listing is recommended (but not required)
for the buyer to contact you directly.
What
is my control panel?
Your gorage control panel allows you to keep
track and manage all the items in your gorage(s).
The control panel shows your account information,
active items for sale, message center and other
gorages you may have.
Can
I have multiple gorages?
Yes, you can have multiple gorages. Multiple gorages are recommended if
you have many items that fall into a similar
category. For example, one garage may be specifically
clothing and another specifically furniture.
You may also have your personal gorage separate
from your business gorage for receipts, invoices
or tax records.
Can
I replace an active item with a new item?
Yes, any active items can be replaced at any time.
What
do I do with my items listing once it is sold?
Once an item sells, you can remove the listing
from your gorage and replace it with another
item listing (at no additional cost) until the
end of that gorage cycle.

Hints
for Sellers:
1. NEVER ship items until personal check/cashier
checks/money orders have cleared or cashed.
2. Use COD when shipping if requested from buyer.
3. Ask questions and get as much information
as needed to feel comfortable with the seller/buyer.
4. Set up a Paypal account and have buyer pay
for items through the Paypal system for added
security.
5.NEVER accept checks (personal or cashiers)
or credit cards from foreign countries especially
when “incentives” are offered or
by offering to pay more for the item than you

comfortable with a foreign buyer, have them
use a payment system such as Paypal for your

for Buyers:
1. You can never ask to many questions. Always

with the seller.
2. Refine searches for items in your local area
